Baseball team aims to fill hole left by '09 class

One of the challenges the team faces is replacing the enormous pool of talent lost from last years graduating class. Seven seniors graduated last spring, including the best player in New Mexico, Max Walla ‘09. “Max [Walla] will be missed,” Ayala said. “But he didn’t do it all by himself. [Winning state] was a team effort. All the seniors contributed.”
